Well, since we couldn't make it to the Vatican to see the actual Sistine Chapel, the Crystal Cathedral brought it to us! Life size replicas of the whole ceiling were on display, but instead of breaking our necks to look up on the ceiling, the paintings were up close! We met up with friends which makes any field trip more fun!
We got to have an audio tour to explain each painting.
This was so cute. As the girls are listening to the audio tour, they all have their hands up to cover a certain part of the painting from their view.
The Crystal Cathedral is a beautiful campus, I had never been there. It is owned by the Catholic Church now. This was a really nice field trip!
