Celebrating 11 years of life and 24.5 years of Teaching!

Wednesday was a big day!

Tanner turned 11!  This is the first time I have wanted my kids to stop growing up too fast!  Next year he will get the priesthood at church, and the year after that he will be a teenager!  I just can't handle it!  Where did my four pound baby go?  He has turned into a wonderful, responsible, intelligent young man who likes to pester his little brother. (no one is perfect, right?) We celebrated with a few friends at Farrell's on Tuesday and had cousins over for a "donut cake" on his actual birthday.  It was a simple celebration, but he said it was the "best birthday ever" so I was glad about that.  I love you Tanner and am so proud of the young man you have become!

That same day, my Mom's school threw a Retirement Party for her.  Dr. Suess was the theme and it was really cute.  It was fun to hear all the people at my mom's school talk about how wonderful she is.  She has touched so many kids lives and made such a difference over her 24 and half years of teaching.    Not too mention the continuing difference she makes in my life and the never ending love she shows my kids.  We love you so much Mom, I don't know where I would be without you!

3 of my favorite gals at the retirement party…  Each balloon in the balloon bouquet had a little "love note"  in it from her friends at work.  So cute!

Recent happenings...

Charity has stopped ripping out everything I do to try to tame her wild hair!  Hooray!

Tanner was in a Greek Myths class and they did an informal play the last day of class:  Electra, a Greek tragedy.  He played Pylades and did GREAT!

The boys had Open House for their Enrichment classes at A+.  This semester they both did art and Lego Engineering, and Tanner also did Spanish.

Cute girl cousins cuddled up after a fun day of hunting for Easter eggs…

I sent these two outside with green smoothies and found them sitting in the stroller in the garages enjoying their drinks! Silly gooses!

Ladd and I stayed at Ladd's parents house in Vegas for a weekend.  We went to the Vegas Temple, saw Cirque de Soliel's "O", ate too much yummy food, and slept in!  It was awesome, although the picture is horrible!
