Butterflies and more...

We took a trip to the Claremont Botanical Gardens to see the butterfly exhibit with Jayme and Maquel's families.

Charity was so inspired by the butterflies, she wanted to draw one to take home with her!
I love how multi-purpose this stroller is!

I love Peri's face here!

After the butterflies, I spent the afternoon snuggling with this little one and watching the big ones swim.  It is so helpful that they are all water safe this summer!!

Other pictures from the past few weeks...

Felicity is learning to make funny faces!

And Charity is adamant about dressing herself these days.  This usually includes a dress with pants under it, and red boots!  I decided its not worth the battle!

One morning I found these 2 reading the scriptures together, and then DISCUSSING WHAT THEY LEARNED! Melted my heart.  So proud of my boys!

And more Cub Scout Fun!  A field trip to the local nature center!

Summer is going WAY TOO FAST!!

In June...

Felicity turned 1 month old...
And Hunter has learned that rocking her helps her when she is fussy.
He has also started teaching her about Star Wars already...  He is such a good big brother!

Tanner's gym took first place at the state competition...
And he got first place on pommel!  Way to go Tan!
He also won "Most Improved on Pommel" at his gymnastics banquet!

Felicity has been found sleeping in a variety of places, like Grandma's arms...
 Her bouncy seat,

Snuggling with Mommy,

on her blanky during tummy time...

and in the middle of the floor during her play time!

But, she is always WIDE awake for her favorite part of the day, bathtime!

We have enjoyed the fruits of our garden.  Everyone is impressed with these amazing sunflowers Hunter planted...

And this little roller skater helped me pick these yummy carrots!  I love having a garden!

These little Daddy's girls got all dressed up for Father's Day...
Because they love their Daddy!

We celebrated our Dads with family for dinner on Father's Day.  I got a picture of Aunt Monica with Felicity, but missed getting a picture of any dads (except my dad there in the background)!

And Hunter got to spend a few days at Cub Scout Camp.  The trick is finding him in this picture!

June went by so fast.  I guess that is what having a baby does, keeps you so busy you hardly realized how much time has gone by!  I am recovering well, just a little foggy headed due to lack of sleep.  I am still working on getting my routine back to something that is somewhat predictable but it will get there!  Kids are doing well adjusting to a baby, aside from the occasional melt down from big sister.  I feel blessed that Felicity is such an easy going, healthy baby.  Heavenly Father knew that was about all I could handle at this point in my life!  I am so grateful for these little treasures in my life that call me mom and keep me on my toes!

Charity is 5!

Charity turned 5 on June 8.  On her actual birthday, we kept it pretty simple with a few gifts in the morning, a trip to RainForest Cafe for lunch followed by a visit to the Disney Store to spend some birthday money, and a "movie night" at home before bed.  Ladd left on a trip for work that afternoon, and I could only do so much!  Charity still said it was her best birthday ever!

We did celebrate with cousins a few weeks later, when Ladd was home and I was feeling a tad bit more together.  We swam at Heidi's and of course had cake!

Charity wanted a BB8 cake from Star Wars. My mom made the cake girly though by using pink and purple for BB8!  She loved her special day.  We love Charity and are so grateful for her spunky, sweet personality.  My favorite thing to see each morning, bright and early, is her big smile.  She is so full of life and happiness!  We love our big 5 year old girl!
