This week consisted of...
1. Remembering my Great Uncle Bob at his Memorial Service...

The Memorial service was on the Balboa Island Ferry, which was very fitting since crossing the ferry has always meant visiting Uncle Bob and Aunt Marcy! Here is a picture of their house from the Ferry.
The people who take care of the greenery on the island put these little bears that said "Bob" in the flower pots near his home. My aunt is a huge teddy bear collector and their house is known as the teddy bear house on the Island!
Uncle Bob was a wonderful man who brought sunshine to everyone he met. I find great comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with his son, Bobby, who passed away in 1991 at the age of 20. Uncle Bob will be greatly missed by many, but not forgotten.
2. Attending a Concert where the boys showed off a little of what they learned about the Baroque and Classical Time Periods...

3. Attending Tanner's Famous Person Speech for his Writer's Workshop. He chose Steve Jobs, as you can see by the bust he made! He did an AWESOME job on his speech, a natural public speaker!
4. Worrying about, caring for, and cleaning up after a sick baby girl who ended up in the ER with an IV for fluids and anti-nausea medicine. She is doing much better now, although she dropped 5% of her body weight so we are now on a quest to fatten her up now that she finally has her appetite back!

And after, with not so chubby cheeks and furrowed brow (but cookie in hand as I am trying push fattening foods right now!)
So grateful that Charity is back to herself now but this was an exhausting week and I am looking forward to a new one!

So glad I got to see the boys performances via video...they did great! Yes, it was an exhausting week for you and Ladd and it did my heart good to see Charity pretty much back to her normal self on Sunday morning! Have a healthy, safe, and uneventful week. Love, Grandma
I know the teddy bear house! Nate's family used to vacation there annually, and they still did a couple of times after I married in! Love that house!
And hope YOU get to recover from Charity's illness soon!
So my great aunt or relative is famous!!! Wa too! She will be on TV next December.
