I haven't blogged much about this pregnancy so here it goes:
How baby is doing:
As far as we can tell, the baby is doing great and I can feel her dancing early in the mornings and late at night. I hope this is not a sign of when she will have her "wakeful" times once she gets here! She is not nearly as active as the boys were and am hoping this is a sign of things to come! We are naming her Charity Ann and the boys refer to her as Charity all the time. Charity because we think it is cute and hope she will develop that quality throughout her life, and Ann after one of the best Grandma's in the world, Ruth Ann. My C-section is scheduled for June 16. This will be my third C-section, but my first planned one. I really don't like being cut open and dealing with all that, but it is nice to know when we will have a baby! Currently we have a Hoyal-look-alike and a Cook look-alike, so we are very curious to see what this third one looks like!
How her mama is doing:
This has been my least favorite pregnancy. Nothing major, just inconveniences that are not fun. I don't know if it is because I am getting older, or because it is a girl. I was nauseous off and on with the boys the whole pregnancy, but this one has been worse. It is tapering off a bit though as time goes by, so I am grateful for that. I also developed a pinched nerve in my left leg. For about a month walking was quite painful and by about 5pm I was done for the day and could hardly move. I kept trying to do Yoga and water aerobics, as I thought a little exercise would help. But, it has gotten a lot better this last week since I stopped all exercise and try to limit what I do as much as possible. So, I am a lazy bum but at least I am not in as much pain anymore! I am already planning my workout plans after I have recovered from my c-section as I know I am going to need it! I have definitely gained some womanly curves that I never had with the other two, even while nursing! With every pregnancy I get a lovely pregnancy mask. Tanner's was barely visible, Hunter's was really bad (on my upper lip and eyebrows), and this time it is on spots on my cheeks and forehead. I look like a leopard. (Hence the reason I do not keep a photo journal of my pregnancies!) I haven't really been craving any food, other than juice, but even the thought of pizza makes me want to throw up! I am sleeping really well right now and hope that continues for a few more months!
So there you have it, my pregnancy in a nutshell!

What a beautiful name! I can't wait to see her!!
I am sorry that you have not been feeling well and that you have been so sick. And the leg! Oh, that is rough!! I hope you get some relief soon!
You are wonderful!
I am, of course, very honored to have part of my name included in naming my new granddaughter. I can't wait to meet her! Keep resting, Melissa. Love, Grandma
Ouchie pinchy nerve! I get that too and sometimes you can't even walk! I'm glad that at least you're sleep ing well. I'm glad to hear someone else gets that mask on the upper lip. I have to wax already but now I need cover up on that faux mustache! I think we crave what our body needs when we're pregnant. I drank milk like it was going out of style, and not just the usual 1% but the whole! I hope you can enjoy these last months of the pregnancy and all those aches and pains just go away. Yummy! Cute name by the way.
Ahh! I so know the pinched nerve problem as well as just the overall yuck-feeling that can happen. And I so hope it gets better for you soon!
Congrats on the "curves". I'm still waiting for mine. :) I agree that girls are harder pregnancies. So sorry! At least there is an end in sight. Charity will be worth it. So jealous that you have a name. We are struggling.
It has been a while, so I wanted to say hi...and congratulations! I am very excited for you and the arrival of a sweet girl. I must say my latest pregnancy was my hardest too. For me it was boy vs girl, but I think it had more to do with my age and the fact that I was running around after two other kids. Remember the first two pregnancies you didn't have as many kids! I am sorry about your pain, I am glad it is getting better. Go get a massage, I would massage you if I could. Good luck! June is a good month...I was born in June, Tee hee!
