Tanner turned 14 last Sunday! We celebrated on Saturday by surprising Tanner and decorating the car after our field trip and taking all the older kids to GameWorks.
The whole school group sang to him at In N Out before we left...
After church on Sunday we had the grandparents over for dinner and apple pie to celebrate both our birthday kids that week!
Tanner was ordained to be a Teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood at church and was asked by the Bishop to bear his testimony in Sacrament meeting. He said, "I know that trials are blessings in disguise." This teenager has had more than his share of trials but still has a positive attitude and love for life. We feel so blessed to have him as our son. He is such a great example to me. He is diligent, hard working, funny, and intelligent. I enjoy spending time with him. He loves his siblings and is so good with the baby. He is creative, organized, and gets things done! We love our Tan-Man and couldn't have asked for a better first born!
