We celebrated Christmas with our school group in true Medieval Fashion!
Making pretzels like the monks made to help children remember to fold their arms during prayers...
Making "Sword in the Stone" ornaments..
Learning about wassailing...
Making medieval foods (meat pies, apple mousse, baked pears, yule log cake) and then Feasting on them!
We also did a Mummer's Play with the older kids and a Shepherds play with the younger crew. I couldn't find the pictures I thought I had of all that though. It was a fun way to kick off this festive time of year!
