Quarentine Happenings -May

We are still pretty isolated, but loosening things up a bit.  It feels good to be around other humans!

A neighbor took the boys out on his Polaris.  They came back with a big snake and lots of stories...

Puzzles!  Her first 1,000 piecer...

We went with the Cripps to see the bio-illuminascant waves.  The illuminated waves were fading, but we could still see them and it was really cool.  Orange County seemed so free.  NO ONE was wearing masks (they were still required here in San Bernardino County) and there were plenty of people out and about at the beach.  It was a really nice night.

Learning about rainbows and making cute crafts...

Cooling off, but even the slip and slide, which was the coolest thing in April is losing its spark...

Making pizza...

These cows ding dong ditched us with some goodies.  I think they got everyone in our ward!

Loosing teeth...

Yard work projects.  We had to hire Jace to help with pulling out some giant roots!
During...

After...

We took my mom and snuck away to Vegas one weekend because we needed a little more freedom than we were getting in CA.  We got to sit down in an actual restaurant, 2 actually!  It was amazing, weird, and delicious all at the same time!  We also got to shop for things you can't really do online, like shoes for the girls and a mattress for Ladd and I.  In one of the restaurants we went to, another customer looked right at us and said, "This is what freedom feels like!"  We laughed and thought how did he know we were from Cali?

Cuddling up with dad and snoozing on Grandma's couch..

Playing Grandma's fancy piano in Vegas...

We celebrated my Dad's birthday with dinner and cake...

A neighbor boy was offering swim lessons.  I signed both my girls up for both sessions.  It was so nice to add a regular, recurring event to my calendar.  The girls did great, although Felicity was NOT happy whenever she had to put her head under water.  "I don't want to go in the deep water!!"

Little girls playing school with the scriptures while Charity is in her lessons...
