Hunter turned 7 on Sunday!
I can't believe he is getting so big! We are so blessed to have Hunter in our family. He is so sweet, gives the best hugs, and always lets me know he loves me. And I sure do love him! He finds joy in being the middle child-learning all he can from his older brother, and teaching the most important things to his younger sister! He keeps us laughing with his honest, witty comments. Hunter says his favorite part of his school day is reading his Scriptures with mom and his least favorite part of the everyday is brushing his teeth. He loves Legos, playing "Anything" with his brother, having friends over to play, and playing with dad. (notice the word "play" is a common theme in Hunter's life...) We love Hunter and are so proud of all the wonderful things he has accomplished in these last 7 years! Happy Birthday Bear!
He has been talking about getting fish since his last birthday, I think. So on Saturday we went to the pet shop and he picked out this pretty Betta fish. His name is James, which also happens to be Hunter's middle name.
Hunter chose cinnamon rolls for his birthday breakfast, then we went to church where the kids did their Primary Sacrament Program, which made for an extra special birthday Sunday.
We celebrated by having cake and ice cream with family. Here is the famous Grandma Cook cake. It is Jek-14, a Lego Star Wars guy...
There are 4 people in the family with birthdays this week, so we celebrated everyone together. Grandpa Hoyal, Ladd, Hunter, and Brett Jr. What a handsome bunch of birthday boys!
