After learning a bit about the American Flag at home, we got to meet Betsy Ross! Although we are not sure if she really did sew the first stars and stripes, it sure was fun meeting her!
She taught us how to sew on stars onto a blue field...
And also how to make five point stars with just a few folds and one snip of the scissors!
The best part was making fortresses and reenacting many revolutionary war battles in her backyard with friends!
