We went to the Pirate Adventure dinner theater in Buena Vista today for a field trip with Tanner's charter school. The school took up the entire place! This school almost doubles every year. The dinner theater put on a special educational version of their show for school groups. It was kind of an odd Christopher Columbus-pirates-explorers-pirate wench sort of deal, but the kids enjoyed it. There was some fun acrobatics at the end that was entertaining. We cheered for the orange pirate/explorer who was the toughest but my kids got the biggest kick out of the purple pirate who was the comedian of the crew. I would be interested to see what their regular show and dinner is like-probably better than the chicken nuggets we ate today. Perfect kid fare though!
