Learning about Lewis and Clark by recreating their "Corps of Discovery"

Sticks are very popular on our excursions...

Too bad the little ones didn't have any fun playing in the adorable teepee that Suzanne made...

Each child taught the others about one of the Indian tribes that Lewis and Clark met. Here is Tanner giving his presentation on the Nez Perce Indians.

The kids even got to go in a row boat to experience what it was like to take a canoe on the Missouri and Columbia Rivers.

This literally was all thrown together last night thanks to Julie's inspiration! Lots of fun and the kids really got to experience what the Lewis and Clark expedition was all about!

love the teepee (sp?) and indian attire. We just got back from our ward's trunk o treat and saw Sacajawea as well as a headless biker dude, it was quite funny. Those look like some awesome times you guys have.
Hey Melissa,
Just wanted to say hi and how cute the boys are! I can't believe how big they are now. Do you have email? I am working on getting a blog up so hopefully soon. Have fun!
