Our Trip to Peru

O.K., so we didn't really take a trip to Peru this summer, but that didn't stop us from experiencing it! The Hollywood Bowl does a summer children's concert series focusing on a different country each week. On Monday, we met with a group of friends and tasted Peruvian cuisine, read a Peruvian folk tale, and learned about Llamas. On Tuesday, we saw Incan dancers and made Peruvian crafts at the Hollywood Bowl. It was a very educational few days for us!

A friend from church came to teach us all about Llamas the day before the Hollywood Bowl performance. She used to live on a Llama farm and the kids were very interested in her Llama stories and facts!

That looks like a lot of fun. Yes, I can always find that precious Tanner in a crowd. What a fun day at the Hollywood Bowl!

I just love how you introduce your kids to such awesome things! We are on the road to the west. The I-80 just goes on and on and on! We are actually in a hotel in Council Bluffs, IA. 1/3 of the way to Utah, ugh...
